Stéphane Épardaud

Senior developeur at Lunatech Research since 1998, now located in the Nice mountains. Passionate hacker in Java, C, Perl or Scheme. A web standards and database enthousiast, he implemented among other things a WYSIWYG XML editor, a multi-threading library in C, a mobile-agent language in Scheme (compiler and virtual machines), and some Web 2.0 services such as VisibleLogistics.

Eager to share, he is a frequent speaker at various conferences such as the Scheme Workshop 2004, at Nice Technical University in 2008 or at the Riviera Java User Group he founded with Nicolas Leroux, or at the neighbour Mars JUG. He is dedicated since 2008 to new technologies such as Java EE and Web 2.0, follows and participages to various JSRs and uses the latest open source projects to which he frequently contributes, such as RESTEasy on which he is committer. Speaking of open-source, he is also the maintainer of jax-doclets, a documentation generator for Java extensions such as the XML and RESTful extensions JAXB and JAX-RS.
