The Seam framework is a powerful technology that is starting to replace a generation of Java web applications implemented using Apache Struts.
Organisations who start using Seam often find that its more powerful and flexible component model comes at the cost of a steeper learning curve and higher project risk. Lunatech Research's Seam experts can help.
In 2006, Lunatech Research started using Seam on commercial software development projects. We used Seam 1.0 to build an online administration tool for Sdu Uitgevers. In 2007, we used Seam 1.2 to build the VisibleLogistics, a supply chain visibility platform. Since then we applied Seam to various other internal and customer projects.
Lunatech Research can use this broad project experience to staff and manage a Seam development team, to implement a web application project.
In 2008, Seam experts from Lunatech Research assisted development teams on Java EE and Seam projects at 2organize and Furore, who are also using Seam to eliminate complexity in their Java EE architecture.
Lunatech Research can provide Seam experts to advise or complement an existing development team.
On 14 January 2009, Lunatech Research presented Seam and related technologies at a Mini-conférence Java EE (in French) in Sophia-Antipolis, France.
On 5 May 2008, Lunatech Research presented Seam and related technologies at the "Forum des Professions Informatique " (in French) in Nice, France.
Since 2007, Lunatech Research has given several Seam presentations in the Benelux JBoss User Group.
In 2007, Peter Hilton and Nicolas Leroux presented Seam in Action at the JavaPolis conference in Antwerp (video).
